Sorry I haven’t blogged for a while, no real time to write whilst the children have been off school. We’ve had school proms, birthdays, days out, and holidays to enjoy.

I hope you’ve all had a good summer so far? All three of our children left their schools to join new ones in September, so it was a tad emotional for them and us!… Seriously, where does the time go?? I don’t feel old enough to have a child start high school and two in middle school. *arghhh*

We went to North Wales for a week away, mixed weather for us up there whilst it was glorious down South… Typical!!

We stayed in a large house with us five, my parents, and my sister and her family. The kids thought it was great staying in a ‘mansion’ for a week. The views were fabulous and nothing but cows and sheep for neighbours. We enjoyed visiting places where my parents took my sister and I as children. My grandparents lived in Colwyn Bay and we visited them every school holiday, so in a way it felt like going home. Lots of new memories were made. Perfect.

We’ve still got a few days out planned, before the children head back to school, a trip out on the Severn Valley Railway next week and a trip to the Black a country museum. As well as getting the rest of the school uniforms sorted { not so exciting! } * yawn*
