Easter time, what does that mean to you? Does it bring back certain childhood memories of you sat in the midst of opened Easter egg wrappers, eating your way through what seemed like 100 million grams of chocolate then feeling horrendously ill?? – no?… Me either *cough*

Now I love the smell of toasted hot cross buns with slightly salted butter wafting across the kitchen and a warm cup of tea waiting for me. Don’t get me wrong I still love a bit of chocolate at Easter time too!

This year I will be working Good Friday night shift but then I have days off until Tuesday. I’m not sure what we will be doing to fill our days with, but the weather report is promising rain all weekend..oh joy! So maybe our Easter will mainly consist of wet dog walks, sat on the sofa watching films with our hot chocolate and marshmallows, playing board games and generally lazing about.
